The Will of God will never take you anywhere that doesn’t require trust. You can feel good about where you’re going, or what you’re getting ready to do, but the emotion of the shift must not be the only factor. Many times, following Jesus, can cause a mixture of feelings, and it ‘s in those times when our faith in God has to be greater than our emotions. That’s when trust comes in.
Our prayer must be;
God, I trust where you’re taking me even though I’m fighting doubt.
God, I trust you in the midst of my insecurity and the fear of failure.
God, my trust is in your leading hand and not my wondering mind.
God, I trust you with the step I’m getting ready to take, even though it’s the unknown.
GOD, ALL I HAVE IS TRUST IN YOU.
I don’t know who these words are for, but what I do know, is when I hear the voice of God speak to me, I know to trust Him and obey. I hope this gets to the ones that need to be reminded to just trust Him; it’s a part of finding His Will and being in it.
