Pastor Denny Livingston has been involved in ministry since he was 14 years old. With the influence of his father and grandfather, who were both ministers, he knew at a young age that ministry is what he wanted to do.
Denny is a musician, singer and songwriter and also enjoys producing music in his studio in Nashville. His songs have been recorded by several well known artists including, Karen Peck, The Singing Americans, The Talleys, The Kingsman and many others.
Denny spent several years singing and ministering with his family as they traveled across the nation. The Livingstons recorded several albums with songs that topped the charts. They were also nominated for horizon group of the year in 1997 by the Singing News Awards.
Denny and his wife Alonna have worked in ministry together since they were married in 1987. They evangelized for several years, and have pastored for 21 years. In 2006 God called Denny and Alonna and their five children to Nashville, TN. Denny lived in Nashville when he was a young boy and never lost the great love and burden he had for it. He was thrilled that after 25 years of being away, God would call him to pastor in his favorite city.
Denny and Alonna have seen some amazing things happen in the short time they’ve been in Nashville. They are strongly involved in working with the Rescue Mission and ministering to the homeless individuals and families in their community. Point Of Mercy Church has become a fast growing, multi-cultural church in East Nashville and is passionate about being a Spirit-Filled, Spirit-led church that is committed to God, family and the needs of others.
